The East Africa Association of Waldorf/Steiner Schools (EAAWSS) and the Rudolf Steiner School Mbagathi (RSSM) in partnership with the World Social Initiative Forum (WSIF) warmly invite you to “East Africa Anthroposophical Conference 2024: Encountering Self and the Other in the Spirit of Utu [Ubuntu]” happening from April 1-5, 2024 at Rudolf Steiner School Mbagathi in Nairobi, Kenya.

This 5-day conference will explore the connection between the African understanding of Utu (Ubuntu; humanness) / Ukama (relatedness) and Anthroposophy. We will look into the interrelationships among us human beings - as individuals and with others - through presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and artistic sessions.

It is also in celebration of the impulses from the Christmas Conference that happened 100 years ago in Dornach, as well as recognizing the initiatives of the people actively sowing and nurturing anthroposophical impulses at present in the region.

We are looking forward to meeting participants coming from different professions and age demographic who are working with and are interested in an anthroposophical view of the human being and ways of relating to the world.
